A Day at the Cappadocian Eco-Valley
The most unique way to start your day in Cappadocia is to join the traditional morning activity at the King's Valley of Kelebek Hotel. This magical place belongs to Ali who is the owner of one of the first cave hotels, the famous Kelebek Cave Hotel. He is a historian of Goreme and explains from personal experience Anatolian life and farming traditions before tourism came to this village which is now a UN World Heritage Site.

Cappadocian Culture & History
in Experienced in the most
Unique Valley of the Region.
You hear rumbling down the street as an ark-like vehicle pulled by a tractor approaches to take you to the Valley of the Kings a few kilometers outside Goreme. The ark stops at viewpoints and your guide explains the agricultural past of the region, its culture, history, and traditions.
You hike down the cliffs on a carved stone stairway to experience an organic treat that could be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, most of which is from the farm you are in. Local handmade cheeses, yogurt, and fresh local bread and jams add to the traditional Turkish breakfast.
You will then tour parts of the unique farm that has been in the Yavuz family for 400 years. You will pet the farm animals and see the pigeon houses carved into the cliffs and fairy chimneys. It is an unforgettable experience with great views, great history, and a meal fit for a king or queen.
